Welcome to Bell Park of Greenwood, Arkansas


Bell Park is located conveniently off of Main Street in Greenwood Arkansas. It has been the central park in Greenwood since 1971, anchoring the entire parks and trails system. Some consider Bell Park the pinnacle of Greenwood because it is positioned on top of a hill allowing beautiful 360 degree vistas. On a clear day one can see most of Sebastian County as well as into Oklahoma, to Mount Magazine, to the Ouchitas and to the Ozarks. Some romantics can be found at the park enjoying a sunrise or a sunset, or even some of the wildlife that roam the park area.

Bell Park is a top location for bird watching in the state of Arkansas, with an elevation of 224 feet according to the United States Geological Service (USGS). Many families come to Bell Park to enjoy the playground facilities and picnic pavilions. Bell Park is home to a competitive disc golf course. Athletes come to Bell Park for the ascent challenge, as well as for both the paved trails and the off road rugged trails. The soccer field is commonly being used for competition and pick up games. Families and corporations have been making memories in the large open air pavilion at the pinnacle of Bell Park for years now. The Senator Ed Wilkinson Community Pavilion is reserved far in advance for weddings and other events. Many people come from surrounding areas to the Promenade at Bell Park to have professional photos taken. The Fall Festival continues to grow every year, always exceeding expectations. The Kiwanis host an annual Christmas Light Display which attracts people from far and near to enjoy the lights.
